FPSC Terms & Conditions and Refund Policy
We may change these Terms any time. By using the Site after a change, you agree to follow and be bound by the Terms as changed.
- Powerskating and hockey programs require full hockey or ringette equipment, including neck guard.
- Only registered skaters are allowed on the ice or in the players' bench areas.
- Programs and schedules are subject to change; registration may be terminated by FPSC for any reason and program fees refunded on a pro-rata basis.
- Skaters may only attend the program they originally registered in.
- Skaters may NOT switch between sessions.
- If a skater is not able to attend a session a friend or sibling may not take their place.
- Registration will be taken at the beginning of each class; if a skater attending a session is not registered in that session they will not be allowed to skate.
- Preferred dates for small classes can not be guaranteed as there are only 10 spots in each small class. Small classes are randomly selected.

You should assume everything you see, hear, or otherwise receive from or on the Site (the Contents) is copyright, trademark, trade dress or other intellectual property owned and/or licensed by THE OWNER. Service displayed on the Site can be delivered in Canada and the United States. Prices are valid and effective only in Canadian and American currency.

You agree to defend, indemnify and hold THE OWNER harmless from and against any claims, damages, costs and expenses, including attorney’s fees, arising from or related to your use of the Site or your violation of any of these Terms and Conditions.
Miscellaneous
Unless otherwise specified, THE OWNER displays this Site and the Contents solely to market and promote THE OWNER services in Canada and United States. THE OWNER controls and operates this Site from its offices in Edmonton, Alberta Canada.
These Terms shall be construed according to Canadian Law, without regard to conflicts of laws. Any dispute arising under or relating to these Terms, the Contents, the use of the Site, or products or services purchased using this Site, shall be resolved exclusively by the provincial courts of Alberta, Canada. Your use of the Site constitutes your consent to the jurisdiction and venue of said courts with respect to any such dispute.
These Terms are the entire agreement between you and THE OWNER relating to the Site or its Contents. Any other agreements between you and THE OWNER are superseded and have no force or effect.
Termination
If THE OWNER believes you have failed to comply with these Terms, or for any other or no reason, THE OWNER, may deny you access to the Site immediately without notice. The restrictions, including restrictions with respect to the Content, disclaimers and liability limitations in these Terms shall continue to apply. Upon denial of access, you must promptly destroy all Content downloaded or obtained from this Site, as well as all copies of Content.
Refund/Cancellation Policy:
- Registrants may withdraw from the program by notifying FPSC, via email Prodigypowerskating@gmail.com prior to 3 weeks before the beginning of classes and receive a full refund minus administration fee. Refunds will not be issued within 4 weeks prior to the beginning of classes.
- Any and all refunds will incur a $75.00 administration fee.
- Any changes made to your program are subjected to a $75.00 administration fee per change.
- Medical issues may be considered for cancellation however 50% of full fee will be retained for administrative purposes and must be accompanied by a doctor’s letter.
Currency:
THE OWNER accepts Canadian currency only. Please ensure that you verify before completing your transaction.
Delivery of Services:
THE OWNER working policy is to advise you in advance of any cost or service before attempting to do the service. THE OWNER will:
Send you a clear list of deliverables. You will approve the work/maintenance. Once the deliverables are complete you will sign off on the completion. We will send you an invoice.
I know of no medical reason that my child can not participate in this Power Skating program.
I understand that the sports may place unusual stresses on the body. Sports are not recommended for persons suffering from asthma, epilepsy, cardio/respiratory disorder, hypertension, skeletal, joint or ligament problems or and related conditions. I understand that on behalf of my skater, I should consult with a medical practitioner if there are concerns about medical conditions or engaging in sports.
THEREFORE, for myself, or on behalf of my minor child, my heirs and legal representative, I do hereby release, indemnify and agree to hold harmless FPSC and its, agents, contractors, sponsors, promoters, trustees, directors, and volunteers, and their respective officers, directors, representatives, employees and agents, and all volunteers of and from any and all losses, costs, damages, claims, demands, rights, and causes of action of whatever kind or nature, including any and all negligence claims or causes of action which result from illness, personal injuries, property damage, death or of any other damages or injuries occurring during or as a result of participation in the FPSC program.
I do hereby consent to and authorize FPSC to obtain emergency medical treatment for me if I am injured during my participation in the event. I agree that I will be responsible for any medical costs incurred with respect to such emergency medical treatment. I acknowledge that FPSC, its sponsors and promoters, and their respective officers, directors, representatives, employees and agents, from and claim or cause of action whatsoever arising out of the administration of emergency medical treatment.
I agree to adhere to and abide by all safety rules and regulations of FPSC, including the wearing or use of any required safety equipment or clothing.
I have read the Waiver and Release and fully understand it as the parent or legal guardian of the child whose name is identified.

At Prodigy Power Skating Club (PPSC), your privacy is important to us. We are committed to maintaining the confidentiality, security and accuracy of your personal information. Prodigy Power Skating Club collects the personal information that you submit to us during your registration process, such as your name, address, age and any other contact or other information that you choose to provide during registration or by corresponding with a member or employee of Fulton Place Skating Club via e-mail.

In some cases, we may be required by applicable law or regulatory requirements, or by the rules of professional conduct that govern skating clubs in the City of Edmonton or Province of Alberta, to collect information about you without your knowledge or consent and to disclose your information to agencies such as the City of Edmonton, Province of Alberta, or agencies contracted with them such as the Canadian Power Skating Association.
